Exhaust System

Hey guys i been looking through some of the posts on here and can't really find anything .. :(

What the best exhaust system i can put on my ek9??

From the manifold to the back box, i dont want is sounding loud i just want it for performance :win:
 
There isn't an answer to 'whats the best',thats entirely up to you. For me it's the spoon n1,for you it won't be if you dont want it loud.

Wouldnt expect much gains manifold-back either,the ek9's are tuned very close to the limit of power already
 
and if it performance/power your after expect it to be loud , best one with depend on your plans and set up , and whether your getting it tuned or mapped .

Love my N1, but yeah if sound isn't your thing, forget the spoon :lol:
 
spoon n1 sounds like its the best one to get tbh guys .. is it 2.5? and does it make a lot of difference?
 
Spoon n1 is one of the loudest systems available really. It won't pass a noise test to go on tracks,even with the bung in if I'm right in saying that.

If loudness is your thing I wouldnt get it as mine is loud!

As for being 2.5" I think it is off the top of my head
 
Also whats your price range.... If you have no price range id say the Toda/J's Racing exhaust would be 'the best' on the market or if you dont have a huge budget go custom 2.5"
 
if you want somthing not too loud i woud go with a mugen twinloop
 
i found the spec 3 buddyclub straight through to be the best for performance... and coincidently i have one for sale... lol but on a serious note it is a bit loud with even with the silencer i must admit!
 
Why go 'branded' when you can go custom, explain to them what your looking for and they should be able to sort something out.
Just a thought!!!!

ive got a j's racing 60rs on mine but changing it for a custom system in a few weeks due to needing a bigger bore

well money is no problem as i wanna buy the best for my 9 :) :)

The best you say?
We have the best off the shelf cat back coming soon

It will be 2.5" and track friendly
 
Spoon n1 definately, ive got a cutsom 2.5" b pipe mated to my spoon gen II n1 backbox and it sounds nuts and the b pipe definately out performs the spoon one i had (probs as it had a hole) :( It is really loud with a decat like mine, even recording on my phone hates it :(
 
Peronsally, bang for buck, I don't think you can go wrong with a custom exhaust from a good fabricator (ie. NOT powerflow! lol)
 
I would say the tanabe medalion touring, one of the best sounds going and I think it's good on the performance side aswel
