facelift b16b into facelift 99 ej6 coupe...questions!!are they true??

i was told if put a b16b facelift model into my 99 facelift coupe the following will happen: are they true??

i will loose my electric windows??

the b series shafts wont fit my hubs??

i'll have loads of stupid problems??

if i use it as a daily driver it wont last??

all answers wanted thanks in advance
 
ha ha thanks lads, whats the story with my key?? will have get it re coded with the ecu??

You have to wonder who comes up with this.

All are false.

You will need a few things to make it work in your car but your car will be fine as a daily driver. Look at all the EK9's on the road those are daily drivers.
 
i got a b16b in my 2000 em1 (much like your ej) but all you would need is the b-series mount, shift linkage and i believe thats it, oh and possibly an 99-00 si wire harness maybe not im not too sure on that one other than that drop the motor and false to all your ques im still happy with my ctr powered em1 but if im wrong anyone is more than welcome to correct me

honestly i wouldnt know what you consider quick, but i am satisfied with it, the only performance mods i have done to it is no name intake, spoon header, and 2.5in greddy full exhaust, i have yet to take it to the track to see what i run in a 1/4 mile but i did dyno it and she made 170whp with 115wtq ill let you know of my time slip whenever i do have a chance to take it to the track
 
I put a b16b in my dx coupe....all you will need is a 99-00 vtec wiring harness, sohc or dohc doesnt matter(and of course b series axles and shift linkage)....i used sohc vtec harness wrked just fine!!! havnt dyno'd mine yet, it is all stock except for whale peener intake and apexi ws2 exhaust...it ran a 14.6 @ 99 mph in a 1/4 mile. I am very happy with this motor
 
yea man i'm just lookin to stay 1.6L and get as much power as i can without turbo'n..
