Hey was up everyone after years of wishing and hoping finally got a civic but the one i actually always wanted but thought id start smaller and cheaper. After getting her two weeks ago ive been looking for a good forums i know the typical ones you know the ones i hear about ppl helpin eachother out with techniques and methods and facts combining everything we all kno so i came across ek9 love the DIY the pics and members whips r everything i dreamed of pwong since the red civic on intial D and the replicas the art the style the way each one adds there own flavor but tea pretty siked dont know where to even begin on the sute or even with the whip where do i go to tell the story i guess get some opinions

nice base to start with,1st off you need to decide what you want from the car? looks,performance,both?? id go towards suspension,brakes( if more power),wheels and handling... once thats completed you can decide if you want more power,if so you have the suspension there already done
 
Love the us spec mirrors any1 know where I could pick up a pair in ireland?

Thats all i wanted was a good base i didnt want someone elses project..... Yes i want looks and performance but i wanna go looks first simply cuz its a good from far from from good paint job it works second its dam near 40 mpg its 34 bucks to fill up once a week cant beat that finacially.... With that savings i wanna do the looks no i dont want my car to look like need for speed i want clean simple jdm with my touch ontop CTR all day.... My boy is given meTein springs. N Kyb shocks so theres my suspension......i wanna get good wheels maybe just some gsr blades just during the transition stages...... And yes power plans on being a b20 with a *b16 head....any interior thoughts should i get a the CTR console Faceplate cant find too many with em*
 
rather than a b swap you considered some boost you may be able to keep most of the economy of the engine and it'll save all the hassle of the swap not to mention it can make loads of power on the stock engine?

Yea a few people told me that these dseries boosted can b just as fast as a b but i feel like if ima boost a dseries and spend the money boosting the d just to be better than a bseries y not beseries and boost it like a Poor mans type r... Can u vtec a dseries??? (possibly stupid question) idk maybe im just not convinced or have the knoweldge of what a b can do
 
Ok so after having the ek for about a month now ive been spending money on the little repairs timing belt water pump throw out bearing new axles and took off the hud caps and painted them black cleaned up the inside but i started to purchase little things got my side markers CTR lips front back and sides grill mesh on the search for some automatic doors
