Finally..heres my EK9 (converted to left hand drive)

looks really great for an LHD conversion, well done, but i think if you don't have to do it (like in your case) it just doesn't make any sense. it's way cooler to keep it in original shape, but of course as mentioned, you had too. so props for the work and money spent on this. really apprecciate the enthusiast behind this project :D
oh and BTW: im alywas impressed how much better a car looks when it's just cleaned :D
 
Nice car mate, bet there are not many of them where you are from?

Wouldn't converting it to LHD effect the balance of the car?

Steering wheel is from a non-ABS / non-SRS / non-power anything CTR, my buddy has one here in Japan. It was optional to to get a EK9 race base model, which comes with nothing (no abs /electrics / sound deadning / air con / power steering / airbags / grey dash/ no recaros / no tints) and has stealies for wheels. Same enige, ready to be striped and turned into a race car. DC2 steering wheels have a different spline and will not fit on EK's.
 
Didn't just come in race base.
They sold normal ek9s without airbags, abs etc
