for sale: TURBO EK9 Civic Type R-HKS Tuned

What why doesnt anyone want this! Turbo EK9's are superb fun and they dont chew tyres anywhere near as bad as the scoobys and evos do!!

SB- I think Ill try find some time to come-down and testdrive this machine just to see what the HKS setup feels like. Let you test-drive mine at the same time. What do you think?

I think you should take it to a dyno and have the power and air/fuel measured. THen youll know how much its making and that the fuellings safe for the next owner. people like trophies :win:

It will be low on power compared to yours, im only running low boost. But your free to come down, just let me know and we can have a play with each others cars:naughty:

i would like to see dynos to see what kind of power the car makes im sure everyone else would like to know what it makes also if its not to much trouble :)

As I stated earlier in the thread mate...
Ah, I myself would like to know that figure too, plus have been wanting to check what 1/4mile I can get in it (even though its not a drag car), however, some potential buyers are put off if a car has been put on 'The Strip' or has been on a RR. I myself dont see a problem with it, but its not me who decides that, some people have the idea it has then been thrashed. At one point the car will have been on a RR though.

If I have serious interest off somebody who wants the power checked, I will have it done, no problem.

Blinx made his estimate earlier too

the car easily makes 300bhp, and has potential to go as high as 350bhp with the proper fuel and tunning. asking for a dyno is rediculous, my turbo civic is for sale too, if somebody asked me for a dyno i would walk away... its a bit insulting imo... i can find you dyno's of similar setups if you'd like to see what the average powerband:

Evans Tuning • View topic - Eg hatch, Stock GSR block, Custom Turbo kit, Neptune, 300whp
Evans Tuning • View topic - Integra GSR, Epic Tuning custom turbo kit, 315whp/215tq
Evans Tuning • View topic - Integra GSR, FR stage 1 GT kit, 330whp/246tq, 10psi, neptune
Evans Tuning • View topic - Ek hatch, Stock gsr, FR stage 1 gt kit, Neptune, 315whp/255t

those for links are all honda motors with less than 10psi, all using the GT28RS turbo that comes in the HKS kit they are GSR engines mostly which are 1.8 but dont have agressive cams like the b16b so expect the same gains on a b16b...

well i test drove the car yesterday and im convinced its running over 200bhp.

Isn't anywhere as near as torquey as my 2 litre nova (not a scal you arses), so the power isn't as raw, but it certainly does pull nicely.

I think it is ok to ask for a dyno run, but only if you're seriously interested...Like i am.

But i will only ask for one once i have money available and have an engineers inspection on the car pre-purchase as i do with all my cars.

:) Sohaib, great car!

Thanks, it is a nice car and as you say, the set-up is nice, its a good, solid build that is just running mild power increase but does the job fine...plus most of the hard work has been done if your after loads of power.

Hopefully you can get your side of things sorted, would be a pleasure to deal with you, you will treat her right.
