fuel light always on with ek9 cluster

hi guys, recently put a ek9 cluster into my ek1 and the fuel light is constantly on. i cannot remember if the stock cluster had a globe in fuel light's socket though as i pulled all the globes out. is there anything i should be checking.

ive also noticed that the yellow needles dont light up so its harder to see them at night. is this normal?

on an ek9 cluster in an ek9 there are two bulbs directed on top of the cluster (between the plastic shielding and the cluster its self).. in your case you are missing the bulbs hence why the yellow needles are not showing

The interior loom on ur car and an ek9 are most likely different. You may need to change a wire or two on the plugs going into the back of the clocks to get the fuel light to work correctly.

you shouldn't have to, the EK9 cluster works perfectly fine in my ej6
