Hi all this car brings back some memories. I've noticed it states that it only has 79k, the engine is a not the original and it had 99,000 miles on when I sold it as the car originally had a b18c.all the will woods and bc coilovers are gone not really liking the black lips and spoiler, beats the horrible copper lips that were on it when I brought it as a rolling shell from Jordan 101.

Still a clean car overall and gave me some experience good to see it kicking about.

hey hey i loved my bronze lips ;) lol after they were done plan was to respray them never turned out the color intended :( glad to see my old 9 still going strong

I know I remember I tried to buy it off ya! It was a minter back then :(

It looks tatty and sits way to high. What a shame

Poor car, I remember this car when it was MINT !
Wont take much to get her nice again though :D

I liked it when dan had it, bronze lips, wing with the bronze slips.

what a piece of **** that has turned into!

I don't see what your problem is. It just has the lips and skirts painted black! not like it's some kind of **** body kit and chaved up. The wheels are TE37's that I thought met fussy ek9 owners approval.

tell me about it mate jock kept it mint before i bought the shell, looks hardly recognizable :nono:

If you purchased the shell why didn't you do a propper job of rebuilding it, just bodged everything. I know as I have had to put it right.

It a little bit of black paint on easly removable parts! OEM suspension MATE! not cheap **** coilovers.

What are you talking about "poor car" When it was so called MINT it was just botched underneath!

Thanks for all your kind comments :)

By poor car i just meant it has looked better lol, but as i said wont take much to return it to oem.
With standard wheels back on and the lips painted it'll look spot on :nice:

What was wrong with it? The car was a track spec car back then. It has had a welded in cage pulled out of it since. Explain the problems?

Car is nice btw, just too much black. :p GLWS :nice:

no offense meant dunx, when i owned the car prior to vti-2010 it was 3/4 built for track use only, it was sold without exhaust amongest numerous other parts including interior it wont be to everyone tastes but everyone is allowed an opinion.

anyhow GLWS i know how mint the shell is or else i would not have paid what i did for it as a base shell

Dunx it didn't have cheap suspension because I put a new set of bc coilovers on it, and tbh it doesn't look very nice atall tbh even the te37 look horrid. And as for the holes underneath they were the roll age I removed that was welded in. Duncx just for your record I sold the car on 72k and the engine was on 99,000 miles so I'm guessing it's around 104k now just for your records.

I bought my EK9 from Duncan and the car was the best I've ever owned, now I'm looking for another one I am always hoping to find one previously imported by him, his reputation on this forum is second to none so I hope people will give him a break whilst he adjusts to the fact that EK9's are too expensive to import and continues his business down another avenue by trading in the ones currently in the UK.

Though, to Duncan, I think those adverts should contain much more information on the cars histories, I'm sure the work you do is top notch so I, personally, wouldn't mind if you had replaced an engine etc. on a car to return it to standard as long as I knew about it before I bought it and it was clear in the advert. I wouldn't want to see your repuation and business ruined, a bit more typing and a little less ambiguity and then hopefully there will be no more threads like this!

Tbh, I don’t see much wrong with that car.

The black lips may not be to everyones taste, and is possibly the reason why the car looks high, along with the black wheels. All can easily be sorted by the new owner.

As for the overall condition of the car, I havnt seen it, so cant comment.

i'll buy the shell if you break, ave been after a facelift ek9 shell for some time now

makes it look to much like a EK4 or something :s clean car though I would have it and just respray the lips and stuff.... again

It actually looks ok in the flesh, I have a set of oem wheels that will be going on shortly.
