1999 Honda Civic EJ9 - H22a7 Accord Type R engine swap
**MOT till November 2011 and TAX end of April 2011**
Engine Mileage - 75,000
(still being used so will go up)
Chassis Mileage - 126,000
I've had this car for almost 3 years now but I've had my fun and want something a bit newer. Unfortunately it has to go.
The engine was professionally put in on the 8th of July by R-Motion (www.r-motion.co.uk).
Just had 2 new Toyo T1r tyres on the front and new brake pads all round for MOT
13/03/11: Engine oil changed with Silkolene 5w40 oil, gearbox oil changed with Amsoil MTF oil and oil filter changed with brand new Hamp filter
This is an extremely quick car; it's been stripped out the back, has no air conditioning, no power steering and no sunroof.. with the torque and power from the 2.2 in such a light car it pulls strong! It's a very light car with over 200+ bhp (probably around 210-220bhp), as you can imagine it is very quick and has no problem against alot of other quick cars..
I am happy to take people out in it to show how quick the car really is.. vtec's prefect in every gear, pulls strong all the way up to redline and sounds amazing! the car is really easy to drive and engine runs smooth.
engine never revved over 3,000rpm untill fully warmed up.
The car is still registered as a 1.4.

Condition:
The shell is in good condition apart from some rust coming back on the rear arch and a scratch to the front bumper. It's washed regularly, if anything too much. Mid 2010 I had the rear arches done to get rid of the rust, but there are signs of rust coming back (just a bit off bubbling)
Bad points:
sometimes the handbrake light stays on even when the handbrake is off. The brakes work great (very strong) and the handbrake has never failed on me so the light hasn't bothered me... and the parts i have mentioned above about the rust on arches
there is a hole in the gearbox casing.. this doesnt effect where the actual gears are and doesnt effect any gear changes. geabox oil was changed 13/03/11 and it holds all the oil fine with no leaks and slots into all gears nice and smooth
I've looked after this car well for the time i have owned it. I am a non smoker and dont let anyone smoke in the car.
I am a well known member on a lot of forums.
