Yes i have noticed "aqua" has posted a similar thread but i would like more specific information please.. What is needed to get the standard helical lsd from a jdm 96 spec itr into my 97 ek4 B16a civic with a s4c non LSD gearbox..Do i need final drive from itr and pinion gear etc??..Any help much appreciated.Wont be doing this for another few weeks but would like to inform myself about the task now.

Ive got a helical LSD for sale try the for sale section.
Dont quote me on it but i think you will just need a crown wheel.
 
Im not looking for one. My friend is giving me his. By crown whhel do you mean the pinion...the one that sends the reading for the speedo??
 
you will need crown wheel and pinion from the 96 itr lsd, the 96 itr lsd won't fit your crown wheel and pinion lad, i may have a lsd crown wheel and pinion from a y21 box in couple of months have a box there just won't have time to get it strip it down yet if your still stuck then

Ok, but Hellical LSD is OEM ITR LSD?

And, the ITR LSD and EK9 LSD is the same LSD?

thanks baz..ill be ok im getting this one at the weekend and getting a lad to fit it for just under a hundred euro so im happy enough.Thanks for the help.:nice:

The stock ITR or EK9 LSD will NOT fit EK4 final drive (where the LSD mounted to the big gear). I tried that before and paid the price...............
 
now we are on this topic, does the EK9/DC2 helical LSD fit the B16A SiR-II S4C gearbox with the factory viscous LSD?
 
IIRC, the viscous uses a different number of bolt holes. So again, it should not fit.
