Alright,

My names Paul Edwards, go by the nicknames Pedwards. Living in the sticks namely called Godstone, which is in the UK.

I presently own the Citreon Saxo vtr, got a few tweaks, but am now bored of having to keep repairs it every couple of months, due to being driven to hard. So i new in search on better, faster, more endurable car.

After getting a taste of what the japanese can offer when a mate brought a dc2 I decided to go on the hunt for a jap car that tickled me. After much searching and I could decided, put after seeing an ek9 with a b18c conversion tripping it up at a cruise killings most things it went up againist I had a look on the net and found you guys. I Looked through pics and threads and was sold. Every time I come on here ans search the internet I want one more and more lol.

I dont actually own an ek9 at the moment and saving, putting every pound I can spread into the saving pot and am hoping to buy one early next year. I dont actually no nothing about jap cars or honda for that fact all. So decided and to keep my want at bay research and look after for the best spec of ek9 and best modifications for it.

Ive found this site very helpful and easy to learn. Any input to my research would be welcomed. I dont really know where I saw set in the mark in what is a good ek9 what i could buy and what is a bad 1, any tips or links to websites would b a great help once again.

Anyway I've just realised I've bored on all enough lol which is my bad lol. Hope to meet and get some ideas off you in future and just wanted to say Ello.

Cheers :nice:

Welcome, nice intro. Well were do we start
there are two different ek9s 96-98 pre-facelift and 98-00 is the facelift. You will be looking at about 6k for clean examples. Hope that's a little helpful

cheers for the welcome and tar lol. yeh I saw different versions Im feeling the 98-00 I think. Ive seen a couple at 59k-66k on the clocks up for sale at £8,000 is that a fair price or on the expensive side? Is their anything I need to look out for, like common faults that could be on there way to occuring?
