Help Please!! - SRS Light

Right now unless I'm being really stupid I can't find anything on this. Baisically my SRS light has recently come on and won't go away. Now to my knowledge there are 3 factors that could cause an issue. The drivers side airbag, in my case i have removed this and installed a resititor which I have checked and this appears to be all fine. The passenegers side airbag, I've checked for anything that could have been knocked behind the glove box and it all seems fine and finally the wire under the seat, I've checked this and can't see any issues.

Anything else I should be looking for?
If not where would I find a fault reading point to diagnose the issue or does anyone know anyway of clearing the fault, possibly an ECU reset or the likes?

Tried this last night and all that happend was my ABS light came on and stays on :(

Managed to sort the abs light (goes on and off as it should) although the SRS light still wont go out .

Ive replaced the 'SRS reel/clock' as this had snapped (unsure of how)

Any help would be :nice:
