My mate is wanting to do a mini me built type thing. He doesn't really know what he is doing and is still in his boy racer stage. Some Fud at his work has told him he can put a b16a (VTI) head onto his d14. I have tried explaining to him about that d series will fit d series and b series will mostly fit b series. He wont believe me so i am hoping that by me showing him this thread and your replies he will not waste his money.

You're right.

Any person with a bit of wit can search on google to see that there has NEVER been anybody who's done a B-head on a D-block and/or vice versa.

It is not impossible -as nothing is impossible with enough money and time... but why go through such a hassle to do such a swap?
