Sadly I have decided to sell or at least gauge interest in my Honda Civic EG6 siR. To be honest I am losing interest in modifying cars and this car needs to come out my garage and get driven like it wants too.
My EG6 was bought in August 2010 down in Stoke-On-Trent and since then has been changed/modified all round. Was bought with mileage just over 102k and now sits at 106k. This shows that I don’t really have the time for it anymore and want it to go to someone who will get out its full potential and take care of it as much I have. This year I was planning on taking it on track like I said before, the interest isn’t there anymore.
The car has had 3 services since in my ownership and recent service included a gearbox oil change with magnetic gearbox plug, magnetic sump plug, fuel filter and obviously the usual engine oil change etc. The car has always driven superbly and pulls very strong in all gears especially in VTEC. The car burns if any, a very small amount of oil and there is no smoke. If somebody was interested and came to view the car they would not be disappointed with its aggressive VTEC crossover and general “track” feel about the car.
Also being into detailing the cars paintwork is in superb condition. Was recently machine polished at the start of the year using Mezerna low cut polish with low cut pad, sealed then waxed. The alloy wheels also have wheel guard and have been waxed. A simple hose down on this car can leave it looking brilliant due to the previous cleaning work. The car has also been under sealed from rear, up to petrol tank, all 4 arches and behind the side skirts. To be honest it didn’t really need under sealed as the underneath condition is better than some 60 plate cars out there and only a couple of times got used in the rain.
Please know if you are interested in this car, it won’t be competing with your dads German car for luxury. This is a pretty hardcore, solid and noisy car which loves to get driven hard and certainly puts a smile on your face on every straight and every corner.

That’s what I can remember from the top of my head about the car, there will be a few things I have forgot to mention but seriously, you will not be disappointed in this car.
Bad points:
Steering rack inner seal needs replacing. Upgraded ITR rack ready to go on, will come with car.
Slight leak from thermostat, will easily fix. Brand new thermostat, just needs adjusted again.
