For sale is a classic 1.6 DOHC VTEC SiRII EG6 Honda Civic hatchback. The car was imported in 2001 by STS in Swindon, and then purchased by a Conservative party counsillor that used it to commute to and from work for the subsequent 9 years. I then purchased the car last year, and have since had 2 services done and the cambelt and waterpump changed as they were due.
The car benefits from the following options:
Traction Control system (rare)
Anti-lock brakes
Air con and climate control
Alloy wheels (from a newer Civic)
I have made some minor modifications to enhance the car, these are:
Braided clutch hose
Full MGZS big brake conversion with EBC pads and grooved EBC discs (includes bigger calipers and bigger than standard discs)
Genuine Mugen (JASMA stamped) 4-2-1 exhaust manifold
Brand new standard Honda catback exhaust system
Tegiwa carbon fibre intake (great sound)
The car is very well presented and is in excellent mechnical and cosmetic condition. It has the odd scrape and scratch as you would expect of a car of this age but it is generally very clean, and does not suffer from rusty arches etc.
The car uses no oil at all, doesn't smoke and has no known faults other than a sticky bonnet release cable.
Viewing is recommended and buyer will not be disappointed. This is an opportunity to purchase a rare classic that has been well looked after and not subject to the usual abuse and lack of maintainance that these cars often experience.
Price is £2000 for the car as it is - I am also prepared to sell the car with a set of very good condition genuine black Recaro seats from an Integra Type R DC2 (completely fitted with seat rails) for an additional £300 (£2300 in total) - or else I am willing to sell the seats and rails seperately for £550.
