Has anyone seen the "Best Motoring International Vol. 01" Where it says to fit a Honda Logo oil filter for extended track use. also a jubilee clip around the filter?

Just wondering what peoples opinions are on this?

The Honda Logo takes the same oil filter as the B series anyway so I don't know what they are on about lol

This was way before honda standardised the same size filters for most of there cars. Think only the NSX is different now.

No need to worry, just buy the honda or Hamp filter for your car

Have done plenty of track days in my old b20, and now k20. Never fitted any jubilee clip to my oil filter, and never lost a filter. It'll be fine without one:nice:

Just fit the filter as normal mate standard hamp or honda is what your looking for

The jubilee clip helps stabilize the oil pressure.

I'm presuming the Honda Logo filter is smaller which will bump up oil pressure ever so slightly, hence why people use the Hamp "Shortie" filters, are these designed for a logo perhaps?

No need as said honda don't use one so I think ull be fine mate all the fully built engines are fine without so will u
