Now they actually sell it by the litre the days of going to the parts desk with a 20 note and an empty 5l tub for filling up may be over !

What a ripp off.
Honda MTF3 is £6 at my local dealer.
Mail order is good though shame it costs alot more.

Same here. If you ask nicely they will fill a container for you with generous measurements ;)

I use Land Rover MTF gear oil and have used it for a good few years and its very good. Just changed the EK9's oil and it was still remarkable clean also the box is superb, and its only just over £3 a litre so can be changed often if you do track days.

The Land Rover MTF is cheaper, so I would go for that if the Honda MTF is expensive.

I would also refrain from doing the £20/gallon tub thing, as most dealers will just fill it with 10w-30 and not MTF (which is basically 10w-30 + friction modifiers)

Anyone knows if any online shop sell this MTF? Here in Italy is unavilable since many years ago.

Lings Honda UK is an online shop, I am not sure if they deliver to italy.... you should email them!

Wow, my local honda have increased there prices on MTF. £10.35 per litre now........ its not even special stuff. Castrol SMX is the same price and its fully syn IIRC!
