honda reliabilty!!!


Thats great news, hope he has a speedy recovery :nice: . Its good to see communities and forums like this and be part of it :)
 
like i said a few pages back... this is the best place to be!!! imo.. the only place to be!!! what a great community full of really friendly, helpful, caring, enthusiastic, intellectual, generous people... you just don`t get that anymore :( but on here you do! and i for 1 think its great! you got a problem, wether it`s honda related or not ... this lot can help, and will!! best bunch of guys i`ve ever come across and i really hope i get the chance to meet as many of you as possible, i will never drive another car that doesn`t sport the "H" i`ve driven all sorts.. to name a few.. celica gt, s14a nissan 200sx, astra coupe turbo, clio williams, an escort rst, corsa gsi (redtop) 2 honda eg 1.5lsi vtec`s and a few others and my hondas were by far the most fun to drive, so as i`ll forever own one... i hope to meet you all very soon. and topher... i hope to see you again soon, we`ll have to organise a meet round this way when i get my new vti :dance:

and little bro has been put onto a normal ward and is out of intensive care and off all the meds, which is absolutely brilliant. docs still not sure about his eye but time will tell, main thing is he`s defo on the mend!!! so happy days.

Hope you and your family are fine now, must have been a shock but the worst is over now so at least you can all relax :)

That is great news mate.. Really happy to hear. I say your family are so happy. Send our best wishes to your brother that he will be home soon and pray to god his eye will be ok to mate
 
Hopefully his eye will be ok when the swelling goes down. That happened to me when I was 7 and I had to get a plastic lens put in which worked completely fine, no one would ever be able to tell it's there. I am now 26 and had a few ops after my original op but got all clear to stop going for check ups over 15 years ago now and never had any probs.
 
hey guys, little chaps back to being his cheeky self and is feeling much better, his little friends done a collection round the school and got him some stuff and took it to him and he knew who they were and loved it. so he`s defo on the mend but still very dosile as his body`s still flushing out all the meds. but im sure his eye will be fine as i smashed my face pretty bad and cracked my eye socket and i couldn`t see for about 4 days and as the swelling went down i gradually got my vision back. but i will keep updating this post as i hear more and keep you all informed until he`s back home. once again.. thank you for your kind words.

no they haven`t.. but we`ve just had news that he might be paralysed down the right hand side of his face!! one of the fractures was on his temple and when it caved, it`s damaged the nerve between his eye and his brain so they aren`t sure if it will heal when the muscle repairs itself or not so it`s still really concerning about the long term effects of his injuries. but i`m pretty keen to make sure that if he doesn`t make a full recovery and get back to 100% that i`m going to pay the tw@ that hit him a visit and make sure he recieves adequate punishment for what he`s done as i don`t believe the police will hand out justice quite the way i will. but i hope for his sake that my bro`s back to hiself in no time. but as before i`ll keep you posted if i hear anything else.

Thats not good! I really hope he repairs/heals properly and doesn't suffer any long term effects from this. Again thoughts and prayers are with your bro, you and your family.
 
cheers fellas, like i said they don`t know for sure but they`ve said it`s a possibility which isn`t very promising. but i really hope that he makes a full recovery!! it`s devastating enough as it is but to see who he used to be and who he is now is just heart breaking... it`s completely changed his life and if he doesn`t heal up fully it`s going to really affect him. i mean he`ll be completely paralysed on that side of his face forever and to be born that way.. you would never know any different but when you`ve lived a perfectly normal life and something like that happens it flips your world upside down!!! the prat responsible will pay...
 
cheers fellas, he`s abit more active today, but still can`t move the right hand side of his face... its horrible to see someone that close to you this way, it`s weird because it`s a feeling i wish everybody could feel so they know what it`s really like... but at the same time i wouldn`t wish it on anybody... docs say 50/50 it might stay like it is or go back to normal but i`ll keep you posted as and when i hear anything.
