Hi everyone hope you all had a very good Christmas, just a quick question regarding the passenger air bag. What it is ive got a 8 month old little boy and want to seat him in the front with me due to the exhaust is REALLY loud for ears as i dont want him to be death by the age of 1 lol also i would like to keep him company in the front with me is there any way that i can easily disconnect the passenger air bag only and but it back on when selling in the future thanks for your help.

honestly speaking instead of getting rid of the airbag put a silencer to your exhaust man..airbags are made for safety, now you wouldnt risk the safety of the other members of the family right..and kids do belong in the backseat..sorry man but honestly get a silencer instead of getting rid of the airbag...think of it ok...happy new year:)

Yup, open the glovebox and pull the yellow srs plug from unde rthe airbag

Remember that this will switch the srs light on on the cluster, throwing up an error code like this in the srs system I would imagine would render the drivers airbag useless.....

Correct, both passenger and drivers airbag will not work if a fault is found by the on-board airbag diagnostic

Sound advice. (Excuse the pun.)

Surely if you drive sensibly the exhaust isn't THAT loud?

Got a spoon N1 on mine and as long as you drive sensibly about it can be a bit easier on the ears.....

for a baby no aftermarket exhaust is nice nor good

as said you just unplug behind glovebox but driver wont work either, if you sell car in future you should have code reset which can be done by honda (very expensive for 5 mins work) or find "how to" on net to do yourself so airbags work again

my advice would be a twinloop mate, dont go messing about with your airbag systema and your familys safety for the sake of a few hundred £££
