Just wondering if anyone has had experience dealing with Icetronix in Ireland? Been enquiring about parts from an EK4 SiR they have for breaking. Been contacting them via their Facebook page but if im honest im finding them quite unhelpful. I would ask perfectly legit questions but would get duff, avoiding answers, they are supposed to be Honda specialists but I often get a 'dont know' response. Now finding they seem to be ignoring my mails when they are quick to regularly update their Facebook page. Not filling me with much confidence for parting with my cash for some hard to get hold of parts they have.

your better off to ring them ,i always found them helpful and bought loads off them down through the years

I Had experience with them before,,painting and kitting a car,,ended up the car turned out v bad paintwork after few months, was dry as hell and was easily chipped,,later i had to repaint parts myself and found out the car had no primer on it and i had to wet sand the whole car to get it reasonable looking. And also who ever does the welding are completely useless, as i needed a twin exit exhaust for the car made up,and when i looked under it,the origional backbox was cut off and a strait T shape pipe was put on and pipes that led away from it werent even lined up and looked completely wank, bird **** welds litrilly, one of the tips fell off one nyt and i had to reweld it on,,thats the point when i was litrilly fed up after all the hastle i went threw i sold it on,will never be back. And i kno im not the only one who can complain about them.

Cowboys!
I bought an exhaust control valve from them. I asked for a 70mm one for my 70mm skunk2 megapower r catbck. When it arrived the receipt said 70mm but it was only a 62mm. I rang suspecting they had made a mistake but no , they told me that that is what they fit to any 70mm exhaust they get. I told him this was useless and that I would lose power which they claimed was incorrect, "it is perfect for your set up, and no, you won't lose power at all" . Absolute chancers! Anyway they accepted a return but I had to pay for delivery back to them. I'd steer clear! They did a k20 swap into an ek for a buddy and it never ran right!

They know f**k all about Hondas!

First and last time i was in Icetronix was 4 years ago with my old man and next to the entire contents of my bank account emptied into euro's, Ignorant is not the word, boys seemed more interested in what was on the computer screen behind the counter than helping me with looking at the car and a few parts I'd travelled down to look at buying, also visited "japcars" beside Dublin airport the same say which was also a massive disappointment

They also promised me extra pics of the car they are breaking and would give me a more detailed condition of the parts im after but not had any of that. Doesn't really appear that customer service is their highest priority, you'd think they would be pleased to help out a UK customer since they would usually get you Irish guys.

Try jap performance parts Dan. Bought a few bits off them and never had any issues.
I usually phone them up and try and get cash knocked off as well.

Never had a problem sound lads ring them for quick response

If you think there not very helpfull then phone jap performance parts iv ordered quit a few bits of off them and couldn't fault them at all.

Your better off ringing them. I've bought loads of parts off them and usually find them very useful. I had one bad experience and swore I'd never go back but a mutual friend of me and the owner of icetronix sorted a part off them and I've being going back since

Had Matt from VTECperformance mail me to see if they can help out so think il see what they can offer and will contact Jap Performance Parts, they don't seem to update their website much so probably best I call or email.

I've dealt with Jap Performance parts and they have outstanding service.
Ordered a few parts and they are in the condition JPP says and delivery is pretty quick.
I recommend them as well.
