Have cleaned the IACV as i had a previous idle problem....

Car idles fine when first starting up.

When driven and changing gear it revs on its own, when coming to a stop too i.e. at traffic lights.

I intially had a loose inlet manifold (not my doing) but thats sorted now, will double check tomorrow just to be 100% sure.

Im 99% sure all my vac lines are good, but could someone with a skunk 2 manifold on a b16b post a few pictures of where they're vac lines are please just im 100%

I also have a standard b16 throttle body, are they're any differences with regards to b16a2 and b16b throttle bodies? I did a quick look and couldn't see anything.

Also, when coming off throttle the car jerks after a second or two.

Im certain its something to do with the intake set up.

Second thing, engine is very ticky on idle and i can hear a noise when accelerating which appears to be coming from the belts area bit of horrible noise but i can't replicate it at a stand still and revving the engine slightly not quite sure how to describe it.....other than something sounds tired?

Is your coolant cloudy with oil?
May have a blown head gasket. Worth a check.

Actually interested in this myself as im having the same problem! Same parts aswell only a B18C

Anyone have a clue?

faulty tps could be your issue lads . maybe worthwhile making sure its set correctly first

Is there a guide for that? Mines intermittent, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't very strange. But when the warning light comes on as soon as you left off the throttle the car just jerks

Has to do with the FITV (Fast Idle Thermal Valve) This is the valve on the bottom side of the throttle body. It has a plate on the back side with two screws in it. You need to remove the cover and tighten down the "plunger" type thing inside it.
