Injector help please :)

Right putting a b16a2 into an EJ9 i bought an ek9 wiring loom, all the plugs match up except for the injectors. Is it possible to cut the plugs and wire it? or am i going to need ek9 injectors?
 
Ive just read cutting the plugs off and soldering the wires together is ok to do. Could someone clarify this for me? Really desperate as i dont have an engine in my car and i need it done by monday!
 
should be fine in i think? i did the exact same with my old ballade, was D15z4, i put a JDM D15B in it and used the same loom, the injector plugs and one or two others where different but i just cut the old plugs off and used the D15B ones...(was kinda stupid cos i shoulda just used my other injectors but hey, i was a n00b)
 
Solder the joints and use heat shrink tubing over the soldered joint to insulate
 
I can get ek9 injectors cheap, are they worth getting? or shall i just save my money and solder them?

? you have injectors but want new ones? What? thought you had a wire issue.
 
you will have the same wiring issue with EK9 injectors i imagine

just swap the plugs as advised above :nice:
 
The wiring loom i have is from an ek9 so they should be fine? probs end up swapping the plugs
 
ah right should be ok then

i have some spare B16 injectors, can check in the morning if they have the same plugs as my EK9 ones and you can have them CHEAP?
 
That would be great! only problem is i need them tomorrow! lol got my old engine out and b16 waiting to go in. Needs to be running by monday as im back at work monday lol
