Hi all, The time has unfortunately come to sell my pride and joy  Iv owned the car since December 2010 and have never had any trouble with the car in my ownership. The car was imported into the country in 05/06/06 as I have the export document but I have not been able to find who actually imported the car.

I have all the previous MOT’s from first registration in the UK to today. The car came into the country with 76007KMH and im assuming it was converted into MPH then. It now reads 127331miles so I have worked out the chassis has approx done 99k miles. The engine was rebuilt at 99087miles by Performance Tek in Glasgow in August 2008 at a cost of £1550 before my ownership – I have the receipt to prove this work and you can also call the garage to confirm this. The car is currently showing 127331miles so the engine is on 28244miles (This will rise a bit as I do use the car occasionally)

The build included new piston rings, gaskets, spark plugs, oil filter, oil, bearings, timing belt and coolant. The block was also honed and decked as the head was given a skim. I had the car at a rolling road on 30/09/2012 and it produced 210.0BHP and 137.9lbft – I have the printout to prove this also. I have serviced the car every few thousand miles and again have receipts for this. The engine doesn’t smoke at all and doesn’t use any oil.

When I got the car it was completely standard. I think iv still got the original pics of when I got it. Since iv owned it I have done quite a lot to the car. The first thing I done was to check the car for any rust. I ended up cleaning the whole underside and treating wee bits that I found. I then undersealed the whole underside and the pics can verify this. There is no rust on this car anywhere. I have also garaged the car in my ownership and have only used it during the summer and on nice days so it is immaculate underneath.

The car was fully re-bushed by myself last winter while it was off the road, I took all the arms off sand blasted them and re painted them (I have loads of pics of this which I can show any buyer, I have a build thread that’s on EK9.org and ITR-DC2.com) All the bushes were replaced at this time with Hyper-Flex bushes. New front wheel bearings were fitted. New Anti Roll Bar Bushes. New hardrace droplinks. While I was doing this I noticed the engine mounts were gone so I replaced these with upgraded mounts which are Innovative 60A mounts. The engine is now solid and hardly moves. The driveshaft’s were split, cleaned and reassembled with new CV grease and CV boots.

I managed to find with great difficulty a 1st Gen Mugen Spoiler which is very rare. I had the spoiler re painted in CW. The car looks great with this spoiler and id say its defo the best one on tegs. I had to get new badges for the spoiler as the paint shop decided the ones that were on it were old and binned them  I also managed to source a set of genuine Volk TE37’s in 16” which needed refurbed so I painted them in the blue/purple colour which really sets the car off beautifully. I got some 205/45/16 Federal RSR tyres fitted last year and still have plenty of tread left.

While the car was undergoing the re-bush I sourced some twin pot callipers from an accord type r. These take 300mm disks which I also upgraded with grooved disks, I got new Ferodo DS2500 pads for the front. For the rear brakes I bought new Brembo disks and pads at the same time.

At the end of last year I bought brand new Meister R Coilovers for it just before it went off the road. Id say they have done 200miles. At that time I replaced the clutch with an exidy stage 1 clutch and new Honda gearbox oil.
The exhaust system has been slightly upgraded, it has a Tegiwa 4-2-1 maifold, de-cat pipe, standard centre section and a janspeed backbox. The car is just slightly louder than a standard exhaust as I didn’t want anything loud on it.

The car does have some age related marks here and there. There is a small dent where someone has hit it opening there door onto my car. The front bumper has a small scratch that you cant really notice this and the rear bumper has a very small paint crack but i am looking to get this fixed or i will take £100 off the asking price.

Im asking for £5200 for the car as it is. Iv had a look on piston heads to try and get a price and i think this is a very fair price as the spoiler and wheels alone are worth a lot.

Very very tidy car, seen it in th flesh too and will not disappoint!!!! Dealt with Elvo twice when he bought a couple of things from me. Top guy and very genuine! GLWS. am same boat as you mate dnt want to sell but my 9 will be goin as off tomorrow too!

Dissapointed to see this up for sale Elvo. Great looking car with some awesome parts.
