hi all

i can get the inlet manifold, throttle bodies, fuel rail and injectors from a dc2 integra.

i was going to fit these to my ek4, will they be much better, would i notice much in gains?

would you guys suggest this?

also have a 4 branch, decat and cat back exhaust all stainless steel.

thanks for any advice and input:nice:

there would be virtually no gains and maybe even losses if you were to just install it with no ecu mapping.

The losses would likely occur in your usable rev range and you'd notice gains primarily after VTEC.

ITR intake manifold's on 16As are good when cams and/or more compression is applied.

i was told i wouldnt need to map, because the ek4 brain cant be mapped and i dotn fancy paying for an ecu

you wont be told differently man

just because the ecu can't be mapped doesn't mean you wouldn't need it. It's a pretty big deal altering a major component that's directly responsible for how much air your engine can ingest....

Depending on how much you can purchased the DC2-R components for, it may be worth your while to buy it first and set it aside or buy it and flip it for a small profit to purchase something more suitable for your EK4.

i can get the whole component for £180 complete, i thought myself i wouldve needed a brain and mapped but was told wasnt needed. makes sense it would need mapped, will prob just leave it then because i couldnt afford a new ecu and mapping
