One of our members at the IOWCC bought a HD Hero camera, so we're now getting fantastic footage of our events from all sorts of angles in decent 720p. The owner wasn't concerned about the durability of the camera, which I tested in the last clip with some DK action in the red 200sx. :D

Can one of the mods move this to the Racing section please?

cool vido mate, the camera falling off actually makes for good footage.. Bet you had fun on that field :))

I certainly did, out of the three of us driving the Nissan, I tend to be the showboater, I can never set fast times offroad so I just aim to go as sideways as possible. :D

We are looking at chopping the Nissan in and getting an MX5 instead, as much fun as the S13 is, it's far too big a car for this kind of thing!

Good footage, prefer no music though. Looks a great day out, grass action for me :nice:

What camera was used looks a clear picture?

GoPro HD Hero.

Yea the offroad events are bloody good fun, the tarmac is far more competitive though...

Not my videos so no say on the music, they are promo videos for the club though so need that bit extra 'jazz' to attract new members. Our club probably has the youngest average memberbase out of all UK clubs, as such we have a lot more IT/media expertise than a lot of other clubs who would normally just have some plain old camcorder footage, which can sometimes make events look a bit dull.

Fair one on the video, not seen any 'grass' days here, probably happen somewhere, was going to do some sprint events a while back but suffer from cone blind :p

Yes it can be daunting but remembering the course is half the challenge! ;)

We are getting more into sprint events but we have to join up with a mainland club, usually FDMC, as we have nowhere suitable on the IOW due to restriction on runoff distances and whatnot.

More regulations on the cars when sprinting though, means I can't strip it out sadly! :(
