Hello All!

Thought I would start a build thread considering things are changing on her already.

I'll start with the normals, I'm sure its a relatively well known car around anyway with MarkP being the old owner and he's on here regularly.

This is how I bought her, just to show a before picture from the advert before things start to change.

Mods:

Suspension and Wheels

Lowered on fully adjustable coilovers (unsure on make without getting down and looking)
16' White Rota Grids
Front Type R Strut Brace
Rear Under Car Support/Strut Brace

Air Flow

Large induction Filter
98' spec manifold
Spoon N1 Catback
Custom Decat pipe

Interior

Double din touch screen with extra speakers

Exterior

Carbon Fibre Bonnet
Bonnet Spacers
Bonnet Pins
Custom Vents in front bumper
Front Carbon Fibre Splitter

Lights

Front HID Kit
Yello JDM Fog Lights

That's all I can say from memory im sure there's more and ill update when I know.

There are a few things I will want to change to clean her up and get her working perfectly:

Double din screen slow, and doesn't pick up radio signal very well
Interior light doesn't work, replaced bulb, still doesn't work. Will have to get checked out.
Too loud exhaust for everyday running and commuting 30miles to work each day

Changes So Far:

So I've started to get her how I want her. She went to my local garage 'Intown Automotive' that are the northampton supplier of longlife custom exhausts.

I got a Cat built in and a new larger backbox with new small slashcut tip and now she's much quieter, but it is a nicer tone, not harsh broken sounding decat sound. But don't worry, when she gets to VTEC, she still ROARS

I've also taken the bonnet spacers out which I feel gives the bonnet a much nicer look, then I cleaned her and took some photos :)

Plans for her in the next week:

New single din radio, with a storage tray (Sunday 10th March) - I think will clean up the interior and suit it better, a big screen just looks a bit odd.

Remove the rust Re-Paint the wiper blade parts, making them look brand new as ive just put new wipers on as well.

Future Plans

Removal of the spikes (vortex somethings) on the roof, and then tidy up the paint.

Front Bumper Swap with Standard 98' Spec JDM (No Splitter)

New Wheels

Either Silver BBS style rims (if swapping carbon bonnet for standard JDM one)

OR

Gunmetal Alloys, undecided on style (If keeping carbon fibre bonnet)

That's all for now guys, I'll keep updating this as I go

Very nice dude, MarkP looks after his car's so i'm sure this one is solid as fook :D

Yeah 94,000 miles and its in perfect mechanical working order, just the double din and the interior light that don't work properly haha :p

Looks good so far mate, looks like you also got a good clean one to start off with which is always a good start!

Nice to see some changes to my old whip , the interior light defo works. I removed it when I took out the cage , take off the plastic cover and bring the full unit out and check I've plugged it back in properly as I probably haven't .

yeah always good to get a clean car!

more changes to come buddy, I'll take the unit out soon and have a check, as I have already changed the bulb so should be working perfectly once I've checked the wiring :)
