hey guys. i recently aquired one of the few clean ek9's left in jamaica.

unfortunately we cant import cars less more than 5 years old. about 10 of them came to the island. some have crashed and been destroyed and one even gutted into a rally car :angry2:

but i finally got my dream car :drive:

i have a dc5 type r and a 320 whp starlet aswell which i will be selling

now onto the car when i got it

got the car with some sweet bc racing coilovers :win:

bottom half was changed to ls b18b

also a chipped obd1 ecu

so fairly standard besides the engine change.

so. now to the good stuff

i love k20s :win: so this will be a k20 build

have a friend currently looking for a good k20 type r engine in japan (hes buying a dc5r and scrapping it so i will get engine gbox ect) so hopefully that will reach in may.

in the mean time i will be gathering up the swap parts needed.

im going the eg/dc subframe route

also as i gather up swap parts i will be looking to also do some aesthetic upgrades to the car :D

have a bunch of stuff coming in. this is what i got so far

new lip to replace the damaged one, flush bonnet pins, and bonnet dampers.

last week i decided to lower the stance of the car slightly so took it to a friend with a lift

and yes it sucks. its a money making thing for the gov. newer cars are more expensive therefore attract higher duty charges
