Japfest2 tracktime videos and pics


No I didn't know anyone other than the ek9.org cars, only met them like 6hours before hand
 
Just watched all the videos, looks like a good day aside from the drift bollocks making a mess and the odd hero on track
 
this videos are manic! great job guys! would love to go to the next meet.
 
I'm sure we'll have a proper track meet perhaps next year or later this year.
 
I am sad I didnt run into you. The lack of power would have made it hard but it would have been fun having a push.

Me too, I was going to follow you into the pits the next lap but decided to try and push through instead. Didn't want to catch them all up again the next lap.
 
Next time I'll either join the very back of the que as it moves off or be at the very front.
At the back you can wait almost a full lap and then go and have clean lapping for a good while. Likewise being at the very front. Less hold ups.
 
I do not miss track time at shows at all, some people are total idiots.

Looks like a fast and fun track though!
 
I just hung well back until I had figured out what the people in front were lilely to do.

The 'dicks' are just like the kind of moves you see when racing.
It would have bothered me before but now I am serene like a hindu cow.
 
I'll admit I was probably abit aggressive trying to get through the traffic but I felt it was safe each time. I knew afew of these cars where just ignoring me and could see me in the mirrors. I find filling the wing mirror with civic on a bend usually helps them let you through. They get tired of trying to watch if your coming up the inside and let you by. Obviously I would never throw it down the inside of someone I knew wasn't prepared for it but they don't...

Looks like a great day out. I've been off the road all summer. I will get to some shows andwets next year for sure.
Videos are great as well. Would have been in my element just being there and watching!
 
Here's my footage from the session. I've noticed that I can get quite impatient when I'm stuck in traffic! There was a few questionable bits of driving from people, not saying mine is any better though :lol: was my first time out in a year so was a bit rusty

 
Mine are go pros and I'm pretty sure the others are aswell.
Decent little cameras, I've had mine for afew years now and it's still going strong.
I sometimes wish it would break so I've got an excuse to get one of the newer wifi models lol
