J's FRP and carbon deifference?

Hi all, is there any difference between the j's carbon and frp intake apart from the look? Such as performance (air-flow) or sound?

how are you going to break it do you hit your engine bay with a hammer every time you open the bonnet?:p

the noise could be differnt as the frp one would be thicker right?
 
not had any experience with the FRP version, but instinct tells me the carbon version will be louder...
