j's racing intake ek4

Hey

is there a seprate j's intake for the ek4 and ek9.?

i recieved mine today and going to fit it tomorrow :nice: however i have noticed that i have an electrical sensor as well as the breather line on my stock intake at the moment but only a breather line on the j's intake. is this correct ?

when i ordered i stated ek4 vti however they sent me one for a ek9 (said on the box) , i have had a look on the j's site and they seem to class the ek4 and ek9 in the same class under there prodcut section.

Maybe i have to drill a hole for this extra sensor ?
 
i've seen ek4's with out the sensor,so they dont all have it, i believe its an air temp sensor, fit the pipe and filter first 2 check it all fits, then if all is fine remove it and carefully drill a hole for it. :)
 
^^as said by b16 mini drill a hole and fit it, I had to do the same once with a toyota levin I had, worked fine on that
 
Thanks for the advice guys! , fitted it today and make a hole for the sensor and then a bit of sealant and jobs done.

The noise is :D:D:D

had read a good bit about the noise being loud but didnt expect it to be as loud as it is , the noise at 4k is so deep and basey lol and then barks out of vtec as someone else mentioned , would definetly reccomend to anyone thinking of getting one.
