k20 ek9

Made up my mind im keeping this.Im going to oz for a year first & when i come back loads of track days id say.:drive:

i can hold on and look after this car when your away if you want, it would be a sin to have it parked up for a year :naughty: :D

I seen this for sale on Donedeal a couple months back. Surprised you never got it shifted for the money it was up for mate. Nice to see your keeping it, looks an absolute minter and it must shift a bit.

I see you managed to keep the power steering. Is there not a issue with the pump hitting the bonnet when doing a k swap? Few ive seen that dont have the power steering fitted.

where did u buy it from was it off donedeal? im sure i looked at this when it was for sale it was just a bit steep

If you work out the postage cost I would have happily PayPal'ed you the money for that.

If you do ever plan on selling it then I would give it some serious consideration, I'm on the look-out for a clean K20 EK9.

I'd keep it bud, you've spent a lot of moneys on it so you should enjoy it :)
With useing the EKK2 kit you have to use an eg subframe don't you??
Would you say the EKK2 mounts are worth getting over the original Hybrid Racing mounts??
Sweet car though bud, this is what I'm planning to do with my next project :)

I used a dc2 subframe so the engine wouldnt be sitting so far forward.I was told this was a far better option than the ekk1 mounts.

No issues with the pump hitting the bonnet.John Stone did all the work & in fairness did a great job.I heaRd this was a problem but never had 1 bit of trouble with it.
