this is my second ek9 typ-r
this is my new ek9 2000 spec type-r "race base"

Chopped a commercial honda civic SIR for LHD conversion

Shame you've had to convert to LHD.

It's not a Rx model nor is it a race base. It's just had elec windows, ABS and airbags deleted from factory options.

its a race base unit and its the only one here in davao, philippines.
here in our country its illegal to drive rhd, so a did a full conversion.

The race base' comes with no a/c p/s abs etc, unless they were fitted after?

yes. they were fitted after the conversion, still no abs

if this was a race base ek9, then surely there shouldnt be the curve in the firewall around the master cylinder - as that curve should be on the opposite side ..

nice and clean though.

It's just a normal ek9, but poverty spec.
Good spot on the bulk head curving on the wrong side though, maybe it is a hybrid of two cars? To make it LHD.

the firewall was converted also, to make it look as commercial as possible

The way i see it, atleast its an ek9 with a lhd firewall, and not an sir thats had a ek9 chopped up for parts to make a replica. Fair play to you, looks like a nice car.
