Lex's Ek9 k20 Race Base

Got some more done on the car yesterday, clutch line and tuck is all done, I've got all the parts to do my PAS delete, but the battery relocation is still to be done as I figure out how I want to run the cables.

And my cusco wing also decided to show up which was a nice surprise

She will make you feel different about her as soon as you drop the hammer . :drive:

Looking great, have you had it running yet?

Roll on next summer!

This is perfection in my eyes!

THanks dude, it's still not a runner yet, I'm admittedly clueless with electrics and the car still needs a few things messed with on the rywire loom so I'm waiting in a line of cars for my friend at the motorsport garage to get time to do that for me.

Once that and the battery stuff is done it should fire up, then it's just a case of me finishing the rest, re locating the expansion tank and washer bottle and doing some service bits like ball joints etc.

I agree with @Deans96r this is about as close to perfection as I've seen mate. Absolutely love it.

Thanks Rob, means a lot.

I got a phone call today while in work.... seems the boys in the unit have some time free and the car MIGHT be a runner this afternoon, it will still need work but it's first start could be on the cards :D

I literally love this car please be careful with it an mind it haha.

Haha awesome thanks dude, I'm not a great fast driver if I'm brutally honest so I won't be giving it death haha

Sit rep..... Still no running YET. But the boys got a bit fancier and decided to extend all the earthing points and fit them under the chassis legs so it's tucked more, oil pressure switch etc is all wired in, just the battery to do and the expansion stuff as before I think now

The attention to detail, I give you 10/10

Thank you very much :nice:

Teeny tiny update..... the engine mount studs on the chain side of the engine were really annoying me as they are overly long and generally ugly.

So a quick message to Ben at BoltsBolts and I now have some stainless loveliness to replace them.... as always a cracking service from them too along with some sweets haha which is always nice
