I'm 41 and feel the same sometimes, but how cool would it be if we were rolling EK9's when we are 60
Age dosnt mater, but ye can't wait to be rocking around in my ek9 at 60 wile most are driving electric hybrid silent crap.
All us ek9 owner in 30 years will know how good Hondas of our era were!

2009 April,

24th Birthday present :)

Now 4.5years on 28. Been mixed emotions all my Honda life. But had some truly amazing experiences and met some amazing people! Which have turned out to be pretty good mates!

I LOVE MY HONDA's

Owned Civics since I was 20.

20 1.5 EG
21 1.6VTI EG
23 1.6VTI EK
24 EK9 (CURRENT)
25 1.4 EK
26 EP3 (CURRENT)

In between this lot I have also owned a Clio and 205 (big mistakes)

Next on the list is an S2000 but not sure which car we will replace

To be able to have the opportunity to actually own a genuine EK9/EK4 is such a privilege, I really envy JDM/UKDM owners. You all are very fortunate. USA is over-regulated to favor the USA car makers...AKA corrupted

Had mine since beginning of 2008 when i first passed my test at 17. So 5 and a half years now. EJ9 though, not EK9, but its certainly gone through some changes. Not a part on it thats the original part, except for the shell itself.

Germany is very over-regulated too. rear foglights and "luminous range control" are just two examples. The same do some german honda enthusiasts think about the 99/00 civic coupe SI/SIR. its a pitty that honda offered some models only for special selected markets.
best greets from overseas

Bought mine in 2007 and still puts a smile on my face. Driven down to Italy a few times in the 9 where it still attracts a lot of interest for a 15 year old car.

Would I sell it, no chance.

Bought my EK9 in Oct 2001, the thought of selling it has passed through my mind a few times, but somehow I don't think that will happen. Could be one of the older owners as well as was 46 this year.
