Have you run it to the side of the bumper? would be ideal to run it down behind the grills at the front.. you wouldn't need to worry about water causing any problems though. loads of people run cold air feeds all year round unless some serious amounts get up there.

its runnng from the intake to the bumper so yes it will , but would have been better in the front, so cold air would be rammed into it, now your intake has to do the work to draw air in as it passes buy/around your card . and no need to do anything in the winter , i run a billon cold air feed from the front to the filter all day every day

Are you planning FI? if not I think its a bit pointless of this car bud.

Had my car dyno'd with the airfeed from the bumper + engine bay - made no difference what so ever.

Best thing you can do it try keep the bay as cool as possible to reduce heat soak.

I did it because I did not want all the dirt came across the car will draw into the filter
(what happened to me with my Alfa Romeo) so I do it because it will get more cold air what is original get and does not receive direct dirt.
i use grid against large objects and stupid people who want push some things in it (And there are some people here unfortunately )

And I also want to ask if the grid is needed other than what I said about stupid people?
