tuner didn't like the 8000-8800rpm figure
prop the header... ?

Good info here from abunai, headers have a big effect on power as well as the intake tube length and width.

imo intake is just an intake it can't keep so much power down ...
perfect power goals on a b18 brings ~80cm length intake piping...

Mine made 204bhp/172whp. Only engine mods are Password JDM Kevlar intake. 98spec manifold with ITR 2.5" b pipe & Spoon N1. Mapped on Neptune.

True, but estimated: 1% powerloss for every 10-15c. More noticeable in top end power in 4, 5 gear. (Short ram intake)

cold air = more power i agree
but a cai like aem can bring you 100% powerloss due to hydrolocking
i'm a fan of sri maybe i make a cai next time and see differences.
