Argh its been a few months i have those insane straight cut gears sitting in my room , as i'm still waiting for the synchrotech master rebuilt to setup up my gear box.

So i said to share a few pics of whats in the box from MF :)

how much do these retail for? send me a pm if you want mate :)
 
Should be sweet to run a car, who's gears are made from the company that makes toda's gearbox :D
 
these gears going into a road/daily car?
 
Nice, they look well machined. Did you get these from MFactory direct?
 
My god, straight cut haha they are going to sound insane!!!! full throttle shifting :D

they are still standard synchromesh............ just that the gears are stronger being straight cut and not semi-helical. so i would still be using the clutch!!! hahaha :nice:
 
Wonder how loud the straight cut synchro gears are ? Ive only been in a car with a straight cut dog box

Especially 5th when cruising
 
mate has a straight cut 4th in his car (spoon gearset out a race car, 4th gear was toast and quick replacement needed) not massively loud, gives a cool whine though
 
i have just fitted these in my ek rally car, there not quiet, will try to post a thread tomorrow

I hope we receive the next order soon m which has the Synchrotech master rebuilt kit with HLHS bearings to set this thing up by the end of this month.
Sure ill post some videos with my new exhaust and headers on a close ratio gear set.

Haha i'd always use the clutch too.
Got a brand new edexy stage2 with a jun flywheel waiting for the fitment :)

Be even worse with a semi-helical / straight cut final drive too :beer:
