Mimms Track Day Rockingham 2016 UPDATED

@xxxencorexxx Decent spec mate. Liking the plans with the ITBs :nice:

Some pretty wide tyres you're going for! What brakes you thinking?

I've recently installed my rear interior and the car definitely feels more planted. Whilst I'm technically adding weight, overall the car is now better balanced.

Thanks pal appreciated. Standard brakes i really cant fault them, they get hard abuse with zero problems even with standard pads. The brake stopper made a good difference, gives great feel. Ive got some tarox pads lying around and been offered project mu, may fit them at future track sessions.
Im in two minds about running 225's might settle for 205 federal rs2's, its weird how we both feel weight helps the balance of our cars, would rather sacrifice it over straight line speed.
Ive already got a honda cbr itb's setup along with all the other bits and bobs, just needs fitting and mapping but im in no rush as the car is great as it is and want to concentrate on handling.

I probably wouldn't put the 225s on an na b16b engined car. They are surprising heavy and the engine pulling that weight around will make a massive difference to your peak speed on the straights.
I've contemplated taking mine off for 195s for this reason and I have plenty of grunt to pull them around.
Also 225s upfront and 195s in the rear is oversteer city on my car. 225s on the back aswell seems abit overkill to me and depending on the tyre could cause issues with temperatures/grip.

Great advice mate, what would you suggest for my car 195's all round, just upgrading from paradas? Im looking at federal, nankang semi slicks.

I'd take the federal rsr over the nangkangs but I've only tried rsr out of the two.
