Thought i would do a build as ive been on here a while but never started one.
So here goes......
I bought the car in standard form for a very reasonable price about 6 years ago now. Kept it standard for a while and then started to get bits like wheels and lips and so on.

Engine stayed stock for along time. long long time lol Apart from intake upgrade.

Next i got myself a set of ep3 seats and fabbed them to fit. VERY comfortable seats....

I then made a little screen in my dash and had a ps2 hooked up lol (which has now gone. All back to standard).

Then after some idiot smashed into the front side of me and others dinging my sides with there dorrs, and a very healthy key mark down the side i decided to get it resprayed. A freind had a freind who could do it at the cost of paint for me, i thought bonus, but turns out it was a terrible job.
Looks ok from afar but had a fair few errors and runs.

He then lost his job so i was knackered.

So i thought i will get it sorted at a later date. And spent my money on other bits :)

And then i got this all too cheap.....

So that was it, then i have just got it tuned by Romain at artech (now Eurospec).

Made such a differece to the car, mid range is now awesome.

Heres my specs
Stock b16a head
Stock b20b block
prelude 345cc injectors
sard fpr
tanabe 2.5 exhaust mani
decat
mongoose full system
And thats it..
this was meant to be a stock build just to see what i could get. might get cams and better inlet in the future but might not lol....

Its making...
182bhp
152whp
146lbft

Now i just need some wheels lmao..... the build continues.....

Comments?

Also need a better intake system as Romain said that was loosing me a few ponies because its sucking waaaaaaay too much hot air...

this car has come such a long way since i first saw it, from what was an averageley modified 1.4 to what is becomng a very tastefully and high quality modfied b20 civic

wow great transformation mate! B20 ftw! get yourself a DC2 airbox and your sorted! :)

A dc2 box is what i want to be fair. But people want too much for them just becaue theyre type r. The car has also been repainted since the engines been in.

im actually thinking of dc2 filter now aswell haha, think itll be better than the j's racing for power gains

Nice job big transformation from when you got it first:nice:

cheers guys, yeah the dc2 box is a proven upgrade. i need cold air because my current intake is sucking over 50 degrees air!!!

yea thats what I found, just keep shopping about!:nice:

meant to ask what PCV set up are you using? a catch can? breather kit?

and where did you get them dials, they are well nice?!!

Yeh I have a catch tank fitted with a filter to vent to atmosphere. I did have a feed from block and the outlet on the rocker cover but i found a build up of gunk on the underside of my rocker cover. So I reattched the rocker cover one to the intake pipe and it's fine now.

Sweeeet mate ! ! ! ! looks sick, i like it. Is that the oil pressure gauge that was causing you grief ?

That is a massive transformation. Kudos to you :nice:

Love the styling throughout.

No lol. thats the new to replace the old crap!!! Actually got better pressure than i thought.

The transformation has happened over a long period.
Just wanna tidy the wiring under the bonnet a bit, get new leads and a new intake then wheels :)

A few pics of how it stands.
