Firstly a bulb went, then speedo went and then engine light came on.

Anyone one know where the speedo sensor is on the gearbox?
I'm hoping it's going to dry out but in case it doesn't, where abouts is it?
 
its on the top of the gearbox, as ur looking into the engine bay its kinda behind the starter if u get me, 3 (10 or 12mm) bolts holdin it in.
 
Mines the same, everytime we get heavy rain, the eml comes on saying theres a misfire on all four cylinders :/ but runs just as sweet as always :dunno:
 
The speedo sorted itself out. Engine light came back on, on my way to gym. Revs up at 1500, I'll have to check the cel when I get home. Seems sluggish too
 
Sounds to me like your speedo converter is on the way out.

Checked the cel there and I got 17 - VSS

I'll leave it for a while and see if it goes again
 
maybe it got wet I got coolant on the top of the connector part and it looked grand and worked perfect then around week or two later got the cel code for it so just replaced it as the cel light kept coming on every so often out of the blue

Cheers for that. I'll leave it for a while and see how it gets on.

Now onto the hard job of changing a bulb. :lol:
 
well took it out today and the connection had a puddle of water in it, is it worth drying out or should I just replace it?
