Local car club to me had a dyno today so thought i'd go along. Wasn't planning to run the car but did in the end.

It's completely standard apart from a HKS panel filter.

Here's the graph. I think it is about right, I know it is down but I'm guessing that isn't too abnormal?

Going to have the oil changed again a couple k and gearbox oil.

Is it? That's ATFW I think. They're meant to be 185bhp new right? I said before I put it on I would be happy with 170 so I'm happy either way. I know not many cars run more than the factory says.

Well, 185 on petrol we haven't got here and new out of the factory...plus good dyno's usually read low or even too low. So it's a good number :)

Cheers guys, Dunx said it felt like a good engine etc and I have to agree. I'm happy with it. At least I know what it is without mods (pretty much) now so I can see what gains I get from adding parts! :D

Man that's awsome I put my b16b on the dyno and it put out 149 :/ my goal is 170 when I tune. Congrats with a high number

thats not bad my ek9 made 177 and i thought mine was low but i guess its abought right then :)

Is that a 4WD dyno ? I love dyno dynamics, i want one in my garage so i can play with it all day long... :))

Is that BHP or WHP?

If its BHP id say its a bit Low but if its WHP id say thats not a standard B16b you have!

Its bhp, I would say its spot on for a b16b on a dyno dynamic's. A b16b what i had with Cams I/H/E made 186bhp on a dynamic's. I bet if he went to a dynojet it would probably make x amount of power more. But like i always say, the number dont really mean a lot. Its all down to the drive and what he beats what counts.

115 ft.lb.torque? ish?

About 112 ft.lb tbh. Tbh, the car runs really well, pulls well through all gears so I am happy. The main idea was so I know what it runs standard, now I can begin to tune it and see what gains I get. :nice:

Healthy! :nice:

Looks about right, if you compare it to the EK9 Surrey Rolling Road dyno day

Healthy engine if you ask me, at RR day standard EK9's were making 160-165 on dynodynamics, I got 168 when i just had mugen cai. Congrats budddy :)

Cheers Maris, I have heard people usually get lower readings on Dyno Dynamics. There's another RR near here which isn't DD and people always seem to get high readings on that. I guess you can only take so much from a RR as it's never going to be exact.
