Hi guys :welcome: to my build thread im new to the site and thought id post a build up hope you guys like.

well before i found this beauty i had a bodge up eg lsi from a local lad in my area. had cut springs, no bolts goin through the suspension to the lower arms,
following didnt work: full beams, indicators, dashboard lights didnt work.
inside the bay the resistor box had cut wires. id upload pictures of it but im too ashamed to put them on however a mate of mine went into the local scrap yard in august and came across an eg6 about ( and i mean ABOUT) to be crushed for no reason what so ever. rolled off a trailor by the owner who owns the scrappies, was literally beggin him for me to have it, had a look around it and thought it was too good to go however whilst sorting a deal with the bloke two others went over to it started ripping parts off started taking the rocker cover off payed with the fuel, made the dizzy lose, after talking to the bloke we came to a deal of £650 and i had to get it within a day. begged everyone i knew for the money. but finally got it to my garage
:D

heres pictures of how it was

and heres it atm

and the bay shot :D

Looks well tidy, rear bumper is a bit OTT but everything else looks great and colour coding is well nice! :)

rear bumper what you mean its a standard one buddy? but cheers man

Nice car mate, wish i was lucky enough to find one of these that cheap haha!

i was lucky two man i had soo many people checkin it whilst i left it in the scrappy wanting parts. i had like 5 mins before it wouldve been picked up and crushed lol.
now having loads of people wanting to buy it lol

That rocker is savage pal.. where did ya get it .. or what did ya do to it.. looks anodized

That was on there from when i got it, i was told by a member on CL that it was originally polished and then sprayed over in red lacquer buddy

It wasnt sparking when the guy took it in, £70 later and i fitted a new dizzy on it fired up first time, then the fuel system needed sorting as it wasnt done properly kept pissin out with fuel.
That was all, soon as i got it to my garage the bumpers came straight off the skirts are still on there for now just gotta spray them in gloss black first

right guys, well before christmas i had my bumpers fitted however it wasnt till i fitted the rear on that i notice it wasnt fitting on properly and that i couldnt get it to fit the rear arch. it was puzzling me for ages felt like smacking my head of a :angry2: as i didnt notice lol, it wasnt till i looked around at egs with the rear bumpers off and noticed that mine was different to others, started a thread on another forum asking what people thought some thought i was made lol. but heres a few pics on what i was puzzled on.
