Tim has put it a bit harsh, but I have to kind of agree...sorry mate.

Simple tip: next time you take pictures to present your car, give it a nice clean :nice:

Wow. Umm, the number plate is nice and standard, good job.

not really my style... bt i mean i can tell u like fast and the furious type cars... so good job...

Thanks everyone for the lovley comments. I am actually not realy into looks but the car came with a broken body kit so i have just put a new one on. Have orderd new wheels wich are gunmetal kei racing and am waiting the arrival of my carbon bonnet. I know it needs a good wash but these are the first images i have so will update as time goes and more mods are added. Im looking at giving this car loads of bhp. Full engine rebuild starts at the end of april with a Brian Crower 2lt stroker kit with forged pistons and balance and lightend bottom end. The head is going to be sent a way to be gas flowed and skimmed to run a high compression ratio and the valve seats done to accomodate oversised ones. Skunk2 pro series inlet manifold and stage 3 cams with 330 cc rc injectors should make it breath a bit better with a mugen straight through stainless pipe comming as well. Has a induction kit alreaady dont know what one but may look at changeing that at a later date Interior shall be stripped out and a full cage is going to be put in with the usual race spec gizmoss. White line anti roll bars and strut braces are going on then i am goiing to put a tein pro street coilover kit for a nice firm ride. Brakes will be uprated but have not look into them yet. The car will be resprayed eventually but not my priority at the moment. I want all this done by summer next year so i can hit the track in the time attack series. Total buget is about 15000 grand. So if any of you want to challenge me feel feel free. I know this is an ek9 site but there are not alot of other civic sites about. This car is lighter and will be quicker than most ek9 out there even without the addition of a turbo. Watch this space guys. :nice:

Nobody is challenging you. Respect here is not earned because one is faster or, as in your case, that you will be faster when you're done modding. And those mods sound great, but it sort of sounds like you're defending yourself. People here just don't like the looks of your car. No matter how fast it it will be, that is a totally different thing. By the way, I also have a Civic EG so I'm not biased ;)

Looking forward to all those mods (if they really happen cause lots of people talk about things they don't do :p). Got 3 questions:
- Why not get an EG6 with stock body?
- Have you ever thought about putting in a K20?
- Or maybe even get a Elise with K20 when you're spending that much?

You're thinking about spend 15k on that? Why not just buy another Civic which is unmolested and put the engine in that, esp with all the work you're doing anyway.

people are being way too harsh on here , it's his car and he can do what he wants . there is nothing wrong with something different like .

its all about personal preference and every one on here like oem and not big body kits. in my opinion unless it increases the performance or aerodynamics of the car then it is a waste of time and money. i think that nearly all body kits cannot help a car perform better and only add more weight. only look good if you are building a show car and there would be alot you could do with 15k

well its up to him how he spends his money but people come on here for advice and ideas because people on here might have similar intrests
