Hi there guys, as its my first car, am wanting to get this car running nice and smooth, not too bothered about speed of it yet. will probably do a B18c transplant sometime later in its life anyway.
This was my older brothers civic back in the days, when fast and the furious first came out. he had NOS in there and spent a couple of grand on random engine bits, sold it to some guy who blew the engine within 2 days of owning it and wanted money back...
I originally bought a EK4
i was busy so didnt get time to pick her up, but brother in law went, he said since the cars not been driven for awhile, he needs to what i called it' thrash' the car for awhile... well after about a week of me having paid for it, i finally got to see it in person, and drove it once, (very delicately) he drove it away next day...and whilst on his way to work, he skidded on black ice and messed up his prelude ( lucky it wasnt mine, or i would have been even more pissed)
so after that, i just thought fck it, il buy another car myself for the time, i was looking at EK9s first which made me join this forum, but the insurance price on those are around the 3k mark but ive always liked the type r look, and found this car.
another member on another forum put this EK3 up for sale. after paying for the car, took it home and me being a complete idiot. the car had a few problems which i didnt check
1 of the HIDS was bust
the so called AVO GTZ coilovers werent even on the car, but sitting on stocks probably cut springs tbh.
passenger seat rocks
broken fog light switch.
non working horn
and alot of little bits
the original plan was to break the silver car for parts and transfer them all to the black EK4. after being quoted for around 200-300£ to get it all done i thought id just keep the silver EK3 as it saves me more money on fuel and hassle.
so with a few parts waiting to be put on:
wanted Black Gt3's, got these cheap on ebay, but only to find out they were 114s...lucky the seller was genuine and happliy gave me a refund + my postage.

bought some recaros off Eskay from here
just needs abit of cleaning up
this one is mostly cleaned
and some other stuff i got comming are
D2 LCA
new screen whipers
pink dildo gearknob
red wheel nuts
a set of rota 16" alloys
at the moment sitting on 17" rota revs. am assuming 16"s will fit no problem with these brake discs right?

after all these are done, time to save up abit more and get it throughly checked and serviced or plans are getting a full spray to red/white or black :/ still undecided yet, as fixing the little rust area is gonna set me back 150 :/ but full respray with a standard colour the garage is charging me 600 did my brothers yellowish civic at the top too
