my ek3 build

loving the build

Thanks dude its a slow one haha

looks soooo good mate i love that color as well :)

Thaks man looks good with a wash but gets dirty lookin really easily

Love the build so far, very clean car!!! mint....
Like your choice of mods so far, you obv take pride in what you do. Good that your being sensible with doing the suspension, brakes, tidy-up , interior first, so you have everything readu for an engine swap at a later date. keep goin!!

Thanks dude. Ye that wasn't really the plan but ended up doing things the right way i suppose. Iv got most of my engine bits sorted now aswel so shouldnt be long before i get it in and running :)

I think the only thing letting it down are the wing mirrors, have you got plans for them.

Colour code?
or
Spoon cf

Not got any plans atm as i don't really mind them too much. Id love some spoon cf ones though! But its all about priorities and these are not high up there lol

lovely car mate.. looks mint.

have a jdm ek4 vti myself i fitted a b16 in to it a couple of weeks back

thanks! Veyr noice :)

nice build, good stance

cheers! The mb6 hubs should bring the wheels out a lil bit further aswel i think

Thanks Neil thought I would give it a try after seeing it on someone elses build :) I can always scrape away the other letters if i get sick of it.

I was soo shocked when i saw the mileage! Didn't think it would be genuine but it certainly is

A few people have said that lol thanks mate

Soo with me hoping to get out on track this year i purchased a sunroof delete from Chris (pneuma) to save some weight. The old sunroof was stupidly heavy and all that weight was at the highest pint in the car. Think it is around 14 Kilos but felt alot heavier than that. So i fitted the sunroof and decided to keep the headliner out :)

Its been very frosty and rained the other night with no leaks so im happy :) I also bought an xbrace and fitted this straight away! Still need to remove the upper grey plastics so the xbrace will have to come off again.

Took the old Inlet mani bracket off the back which wasnt needed

DSC_0022-2.jpg

Also bought a jdm 96 spec 2.5" mani. Will do for now until i get a stainless one :)

DSC_0029-1.jpg

And some new jdm wheels - Go Zeegans! about 2.6lbs lighter and 15 inch which is better for track. They are 50 profile though so look quite chunky.

They do need a refurb and one wheel the paint is fuberd and all the polished lips are pitted but its another little project :)

Engine conv is starting this w/e :) Bit worried incase something goes wrong or i forget something though!

Need to transfer the ek3 engine loom onto the b18c4 engine once it is out. Anyone know how hard this is?

been flipping threw.. sooo much fun.. you gotta strip the suspension under neath.. polish it up, power coat it, get it nice and sparkly clean hehe.. one of my favorite things to do.
