My EK9 on its way from Japan

yeah but its also good to know that your the first UK owner and also the wait makes it that much better when it gets here!! :nice:
 
insuranc isn't that bad! can't get insurance on it till i'm 20 (13th of July) and it will be 900 fully comp and thats with the exhaust change declared too :shocked: :D

and that's NOT a facelift steering wheel!!!! any promotional video you watch for the ek9 and spec sheet for the car from just after the car was released (obviously the pre facelift shape) has the momo SRS wheel stated as a feature of the car :woot:

for instance check the link HERE it states how the titanium gear knob, the red recaros and the momo srs wheel etc etc are all standard features on the ek9
 
isnt standard features at all, srs wheel etc is all optional extras :)
 
£8600 thats top price no offence mate you will never no if its been in a accident
i spoke to a importer well known one! the other day and said he could get a damage one from japan do it up and they would be no record of it over here as damage was done in another country . I was surprised lol not saying yours is !
 
it hasn't been in any accidents. it's from a very trusted honda dealer in japan and has had the history checked out etc and has only had 2 owners from new :)
 
w00p, car left Japan early last week after a small delay and should take roughly 40 days shipping

the importers sourced me some mint standard wing mirrors to replace the spoon style ones, some new Honda access wind deflectors and also today we just won a new exhaust for te car, this came up on a tokyo auction site for cheap, my mates ek9 used to have one and they look/sound awesome!!!

here's the exhaust, HKS windmaster, looks MINT by the looks of it :D

yeah hks have discontinued them now so to find one in such mint condition was pretty lucky :D
 
Hey i had an exhaust like that well still have lol Still got the bit outlined in mint condition the rest was paggered as it is only mild steal :( Been think of puttin it back on it does sound nice :) How much did you pay mate.I would not lower your car if you put that on lol when i got this ek9 it was catching everywhere !Should be ok on yours thou

Your in america dude it will be a fortune :( Other wise i would its just laid in my garage I have even cleaned it all up lol .I only changed as the rest was paggered lol the bit out lined is excellent condition
 
yeaaa dude i got my ek9 last week ...i know you will love yours..enjoy it man ..it looks very nice.
 
still got shipping to pay but it only cost £70 :wow: :D

not bad considering they are £450 new. . . . .

Darren had mentioned that it ued to catch at times on your car when he had it, although on the upside it never caught on the LCA like other exhausts do as it goes underneath!
 
£900 fully comp !! Thats mega cheap. hmm im 20 and cant get any quotes anything like that. 3 years no claims - low risk area - no claims etc etc..

Does ur m8 have a white one with Spoon written under the wing mirrors in black ??? Seen it down the beach a few times. My m8 from Arbroath also has a 97 white one.. Been through a few time.. hehe mine is black tho !!!

my mate sold his, ScottEK9 on here has it now

i've seen that one with the spoon stickers too, he stays out torphins, he's a friend of a friend, it's DECKED though! next time you see it check the negative camber on the rear wheels, nuts!!
 
www.privteimports.co.uk they're the guys that are importing the car,if you go to the "auction tokyo" part of the site they can bid on any parts for you and from what i've seen you can get some top end parts for pretty cheap :clap:
