My EK9 turbo with TDI.

Looks like this is going to develop into a proper little weapon! You will piss 280-300bhp @the fly with the parts you are getting on a stock b16b ;)

Sweet cheers, less than 2 weeks till its getting done :D

Nice build mate :). What brake setup are you using? I'm looking for ideas for my K20 build

Just going to be running standard calipers with some new discs and ds2500 pads.

Will be getting some willwood 4pots though ASAP.

Wow at the end of this will be something to keep an eye out for!

Very nice man should be very fast even at 30ohp at the fly :) Are you getting a thicker headgasket or just leaving it?

looking very good mate i have the same spa manifold on my hatch they are a little pricy but you get every penny out it free worrys and the precision turbo will get you between 350hp to 500hp esay the only think with this manifold its the you need to make your own down pipe not a big deal
we got pretty much the same set up but i got id1000 injectors but good luck on your build looking forwar to see more my its almost done need few thing here and there

another thing you deffeny need a bov to protect your turbo if you care about it i dont thing you will spend the much on a turbo to let go bad remmember all the pressure from the turbine got to get out truw somewhere when the throttle its close soo it push back truw the pipe to the turbo acting like a brake making friction the eventually make the turbo to start leaking oil truw the seals and after that its over
so you better off buying a bov for few $$$$ them spending the same few $$$$ + more $$$$ on another turbo and we know this little puppies are not cheap they range between 800usd to 1400usd depending on your needs and thats not counting on shipping

Cheers.

And yeh I'm leaving the engine standard. I'll be fitting a different engine if I get problems or I may be changing the stem seals so could put a thicker gasket on then. Will see how it goes.

Cars gone into TDi. Will be uploading pics of the process this week. Will be finished by Saturday at the latest.

Driving a vauxhal meriva now. Very different to say the least.

Mani / turbo bolted on ready make the down pipe. Intercooler is fitted and all pipes are tacked together ready to be welded. All looking good and I'm pleased with the progress.
