My Jordan Build up. 331

Ok had to made a new user account as i forgot my old 1 ( ooops) lol but some of u'z might know the car. Thought it was time to put up a build up of the car.

I bought the car back in March 2008.

Mods on the car when bought.

Dcsports manifold
Magnecor ht leads
unknown throttle bodie
Bmc carbon induction kit
apexi vtec controller
exedy stage 3 clutch
spoon lightened flywheel
skunk2 gold lcas
Tein Superstreet coilovers with top mounts
Spoonsports socks
Ek9 grille
Carbon ek9 style spoiler
oz wheels
Spoon b pipe and n1 backbox.
Copy mugen rocker cover.

After a couple of weeks into ownership i got the bug so ordered my 1st mod.
Brand new ek9 headlights from funkypower.
Got it booked into PerformanceTek for setup of the colis.
When i bought the car it was sitting funny. front was higher than the back lol.

I then decided i wanted new wheels. Was new into this honda scene so didnt know much. I ordered a set of 16 inch rota gt3's in gold with toyo t1r's.

Next was a new exhaust. My friend had a ek9 with a mugen twinloop. Loved the sound so had to get 1. Spoon was great but 2 loud for where i stay lol. Ended up selling the Spoon system for £250 for b-pipe n back box

Ordered a Mugen Twinloop full system from japperformanceparts and booked back into Gerry at PerformanceTek to get my new exhaust fitted.

After that i gave the car a good clean and took some not so good pics.

After that i booked it into Honda for a Service. Was in for days and cost me 800 . But at least everything was upto standard.


Next i wanted to make it cleaner looking. Got it booked into the bodyshop for rear arches done, Front bumper with ducts black again and front reg thing removed, rear bumper, side skirts.

Also painted the calipers white.

Also thought al try sumfin different after seeing a picture of a group of honda in US of A with it done.

So next i went the stripped route. Got a set of ek9 Recaros and rails.
Also sourced a Mircle Xbar from the States.
Bought a Private reg for the car. Thought it would suit it.

Then it off off to Gerry at PerformanceTek again. Full service. S80 Teg Gearbox fitted, Timing Belt & A/c removed.

Also got my gt3's Painted Arden Blue.

Got some new parts for the car. 6k hids, Spoon spoiler, Blue lug nuts, Skunk2 rad cap.

Next it was to up my game abit.

Car was booked in for a full respray. New arches welded in, boot holes welded, ariel removed and welded, front bumper smoothed. Got a set of jap plates aswel.

Got some new parts aswel. Ek9 steering wheel with yellow h, ek9 clocks, Beaks lower tie bar, Skunk2 shortshifter, Skunk2 weighted gearnob, energy shifting bushings, Hel braided brakes lines and Clutch line and Ek9 brake master servo.

Not got pics as the car was in the bodyshop getting done.

So next i got Spoon calipers

And a picture i found after the car was painted.

Dont worry about the rusty tow hook. The car was been fully undersealed now. al post up a pic of that aswel.

Next i ordered some new wheels and rubber to suit my new brakes.

Regamaster's in Crome

Only problem was that they were 4.114 fitment. Not to worry got it booked into PerformanceTek for 282's on front with spoon calipers, and 114 hub conversion and the other parts i had sitting about for it ie ek9 brake master servo etc..

I ordered a Brand new set of Recaros from Recaro. and after 3 long months i recieved them. Black with Yellow recaro and double yellow stiching.

Got the Spoon spoiler colour coded and some better pics.
I will find the 1's from my photoshoot and put them up in time.

Currently the car is in PerformanceTek for full service, Apr extended wheel studs, New trailing arms and bushings, Brand new rear calipers, rear disc upgrade to 262 with new pads n discs.
I also got my Winter wheels in so dropped them off to be fitted - 96 spec teg wheels.
Will get pics up when i get the car back.

wow! some heavy money spent there mate! very clean and great paint and underseal job. your blue rims looked soooo good! IMO the jordan should have came with the recaro seats you have in it now, great choice!! any engine mods planned?? no doubt you will have since you know Gerry.

Yeah a few mods planned. New engine i think. B20, b18r or K20 depends on money i have lol.

Its got a few mods already no much. just the basic mods tho

The gt3's were 16 inch. 195/45/16 i think. was a while ago i had them.

You pretty much have my jordan how i want it......

i have gt3's in navy blue and i like it.....just need to lower it.

i have a fair amount of suspension tweaks in the pipeline and i plan on a high comp high revving build with lsd in the future. i think i want my ek9 wheel in yellow and those recaro's look lovely!

Av not had her rolling roaded yet. So I say it's running standard 160hp. Anything above would be good.

I sold I gt3's in the summer. They were 4 stud so no use to u. If I were u I would get gab sport wheels n paint them blue if u want the same look.
I also think purple & yellow wheels suit yellow cars well. Al post up pics or pm u if u like?
