My new ek9 accident, gutted!


nah not yet, being the weekend and all :p.

will be chasing next week. only on saturday did i recieve through my papers to fill out!
 
that aint written off....it could fix just make sure someone good does it
 
well at last some good news, her insurance company is accepting liability. they have said they are willing to repair my car and provide me with a courtesy car aswell.

now i already have a s2000 courtesy car which is being provided by a company who claim there costs back from the 3rd party. and i dont fancy ditching that for some shitty matiz or something similar.

also i think the place they want to get it repaired is local to me and i have not heard good reports, i do not want my ek9 going somewhere like that to get bodged. where do i stand with this guys?
they have asked for me to contact them, but your insurance say not to contact the 3rd party but to let them deal with it. anybody know my next course of action?

i would think you would be able to specify which bodyshop the work gets done at ,will probably have to provide estimates etc to the insurance from your chosen shop

just phoned honda for myself, most parts your looking @ upto 6 weeks delivery time from japan they said.

IF insurance were to write it off because they cba paying for my courtesy car that long, any idea what the buy back price may be?

even if i had all new parts from honda incl, bumper, grille, wing,bonnet, lower spoiler and a door parts only come to just over a grand + vat. then they would just need spraying and fitting, whereas the other company quoted like 4k..

Honda is useless but Ling's Honda usually deliver all the parts I buy within a few days - all genuine Honda parts.
 
lings honda? reckon they stock these body parts though?
 
update : good news, repairs been given the go ahead :D so im a happy chap, and they also said it's been on the jig and was spot on.
 
Looks alot worse than it is mate, i hit a range rover in my jordan. fixed it within a week. New Bumper lights and wing. thats all urs will need aswell by the look of it.

tipical woman drivers lol even i got hit by one in the eg6 still not got it back as it was a rear damage company had to write it off b8ut was qouted to get it fixed for less then 1000k if i knew that i could challange the insurance company i could of got it fixed by them. im glad to hear that you car is not beeing sorted
 
well tomorrow should be the day i get it back, cant wait. already been delayed 3 times because of parts.

the s2000 is nice but you cant beat the sound of the b16 when it comes on vtec :)

got it back friday afternoon, would have picked it up sooner but my mate spotted the wing wasnt quite right, little gap between wing and light, so they sorted it out and i think it's damn near perfect. will put some pics up soon.

only problem now i need to save up for a new left hand light, got 1 brand new shiny and 1 dull one now :p
