My Starlight black EK9~BackyardSpecial,Spoon,HKS.....


i never thought an aftermarket bumped on an ek9 would look good, but damn thats nice.

will you be going for a spoon manifold and downpipe? i'm recommend it, made a big difference to my old ek9.

repalys in no particular order........

jewel-Backyard special is a tuning/aero company. they make coilovers,cages, perspex windows,exhausts and aero parts, all lightweight race parts. their parts are very exclusive, pretty much 'made to order' and shockingly expensive! Not too sure what their website is, the parts are really hard to source in the uk, took me nearly 2 months to find a shop in japan that would post it to me :(
Oh and air-con is gone,lol, it rains here all the time anyway :(


ry4N-Mugshot, lol, well i was 20 when that foto was taken, and yes insurance is hella pricey, 2300GBP a year, not as bad as when i had my dc2 when i was 19 :)

vtech6000- FMIC would look good, but NA all the way :D

Martin_EK9- Spoon manifold? not sure yet, was thinking Toda, probably gonna build the head over winter so we'll see then.

Johnny in the first photo, where did you get that mod that holds up the bonnet beside the windscreen if you know what I mean?
 
if i guess right this is a styling 'thing' thay got going around jap tuners... they lift / mod bonnet hidges.

good spotting 'anton' as ive looked @ these pics loads times without spotting this :nice:
 
the bonnet sitting up a bit at the back is to let heat out,you usually see this done on turbo cars.
