Looks great! What does a cage like that cost? Is it a steel alloy or cromoly?

I believe it's made of Cold Drawn Seamless Carbon Steel... not 100% though... think safety devices don't make cages out of cromoly...

Make sure you get that cage all padded up or they wont let you on the nordshleife

Is that really necessary, I thought the only bits that needed padding where areas where you could hit your head/arms/legs. The cage is a good foot and a half away from the rear of the seat.

Obviously if it is a requirement to pad the rear rollover hoop I'll do it.

I know your only trying to give me good advice so please don't take this as me being all defensive, I do appreciate the shout. :nice:
 
think you may be right, i woudl just put some on the hoop near your seat , Pm sent

Here in Australia its not needed unless we drive it on the streets.

Me and a Mate are in the progress if putting in a CAMS Spec cage for Competition. We just need to get a few more specs on where to put sum reinforcement in the engine bay.

but yeah man i love what uve done with the car, clean. :clap::clap::clap:
 
Finally got the other seat in... interior and rest of the car is pretty much ready for the ring now :D

That looks lovely mate, just a quick q, what seat rails did you use? I'm hoping to get some for mine soon, don't fancy lending me a hand fitting them do you? hah.
